The National Theatre's production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time has extended its West End booking period at the Gielgud Theatre to 29th October 2016.
Curious Incident premiered at the National Theatre in August 2012, transferred to the West End's Apollo Theatre in March 2013 before moving to the Gielgud in July 2014.
The cast is currently led by West End Frame Award winner Sion Daniel Young as Christopher Boone who stars alongside Rebecca Lacey as Siobhan, Nicolas Tennant as Ed, Mary Stockley as Judy, Jacqueline Clarke as Mrs Alexander, Indra Ové as Mrs Shears, Stephen Beckett as Roger Shears, Matthew Trevannion as Mr Thompson, Pearl Mackie as No. 40/Punk Girl and Sean McKenzie as Reverend Peters. Kaffe Keating plays Christopher at selected performances, with the cast being completed by Mark Rawlings, Penelope McGhie, Naomi Said and Simon Victor.
Based on Mark Haddon’s award-winning novel and adapted by Simon Stephens, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is directed by Marianne Elliott. Design is by Bunny Christie, with lighting by Paule Constable, video design by Finn Ross, movement by Scott Graham and Steven Hoggett for Frantic Assembly, music by Adrian Sutton and sound by Ian Dickinson for Autograph.
