EdFringe Review: Laughing Stock at Underbelly, Cowgate

Laughing Stock

Laughing Stock is a fast paced selection of witty sketches which do not disappoint. As the show begins it is explained that one cast member is in a wheelchair following an accident, but the show must go on and this is used to their advantage (it provides lots of extra laughs).

Some crazy people grace the stage throughout the piece which features busking, singing, David Attenborough voiceovers, strange sexual noises and mime magic. The music collaboration of ‘Snack Pack’ the delectable rapping/acoustic sensation was my highlight of the show. The audience roared with laughter from start finish.

Laughing Stock is the kind of sketch show which would work perfectly on BBC3. I see a bright future for the gang in Laughing Stock! One to watch.
