EdFringe Review: Fully Committed at Underbelly Potterrow

Last year Becky Mode's one-man play Fully Committed was revived at London's Menier Chocolate Factory to celebrate the venue's tenth anniversary. Now the production has transferred to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, starring comedian Marcus Brigstocke

Brigstocke stars as an out-of-work actor who finds himself manning the phones alone in one of Manhattan's most sought after and busiest restaurants. Brigstocke also performs the voices of customers and colleagues; playing over forty characters in one show is no easy task, but Brigstocke makes it look like a walk in the park.

A brilliant yet mentally exhausting recipe for disaster, Fully Committed is fast paced and side-splitting funny from beginning to end. It's great to see such a high quality show playing to packed audiences at the Fringe. With wide appeal, a stellar performance and hysterical concept, Fully Committed is a must see show at this year's EdFringe.
