Wicked on Broadway announces open auditions for Elphaba!

The Broadway production of Wicked is holding open auditions to find a new Elphaba understudy! 

Auditions will take place in New York next Monday (27th July) at Telsey + Company (311 W 43rd St). Sign-in begins on the 10th floor at 1:30pm. Auditions will be held between 2pm and 4pm.

Details: Elphaba Understudy
  • Female, to play 20s, any ethnicity. 
  • Needs a powerhouse, thrilling high-belt singing voice, acting chops, and dancing and partnering ability. 
  • Must be capable of carrying a big show. 
  • Must be vocally sturdy. 
  • To appear in the onstage ensemble and understudy the starring role of Elphaba
 
Auditionees should prepare 'The Wizard and I' from bar 117 through the end of the song. An accompanist will be provided. Equity and non-Equity performers are welcome to attend and should bring a photo/resume stapled together.
