Carrie Hope Fletcher to lead 'Let It Go' world record attempt in Hyde Park this weekend

This Sunday (28th June), Barclaycard are hosting British Summer Time Hyde Park. As part of the family event, they will attempt to break the Official Guinness World Records title for 'Most people singing live on a radio broadcast’.

Having teamed up with Disney, the event will host a Frozen sing-along to 'Let It Go' which is sung by Idina Menzel in the film. The record attempt will be broadcast live on Funkids Radio.

Disney’s Frozen is the biggest ever animation and fifth biggest film of all time. It won Oscars for Best Animation and Best Original Song for 'Let It Go', as well as BAFTA Awards and a Golden Globe. 'Let It Go' has generated more than 800 million YouTube views and the hit song has helped the Frozen soundtrack become the UK’s biggest album last year.

Frozen fans are invited down to Hyde Park from 12 noon on Sunday 28th June to watch the sing-along film and warm up the vocal chords. The record attempt itself will take place immediately after the film screening, introduced by an official Guinness World Record adjudicator and led by Carrie Hope Fletcher who is currently playing Eponine in the West End production of Les Miserables at the Queen's Theatre.
