Les Miserables release limited edition postcards for 30th anniversary

30,000 limited edition Les Miserables postcards have been released to celebrate the musical's 30th anniversary on 8th October 2015. Check out some of the postcard images below.

The postcards feature specially commissioned photography of cast members including Peter Lockyer, David Thaxton and Carrie Hope Fletcher. They will be available on a first come first served basis from today (Monday 20th April) to anyone who books a ticket in person via the box office at the Queen's Theatre.

Produced by Cameron Mackintosh and adapted and directed by Trevor Nunn and John Caird, Les Miserables opened on 8th October 1985 at the Barbican starring Colm Wilkinson, Roger Allam, Patti LuPone, Frances Ruffelle and Michael Ball.

The show transferred to the Palace Theatre on 4th December 1985 and moved to its current home at the Queen’s Theatre on 3rd April 2004.

When Les Miserables celebrated its 21st London birthday on 8th October 2006, it became the World’s Longest Running Musical, surpassing the record previously held by Cats in London’s West End. In January 2010, the West End production broke another record by celebrating its historic 10,000th performance.
