First casting announced for Communicating Doors at the Menier Chocolate Factory

First casting for Communicating Doors at the Menier Chocolate Factory has been confirmed.

The production will star David Bamber (Harvey) as Julian, Lucy Briggs Owen (Shakespeare in Love) as Jessica, Rachel Tucker (Wicked, pictured right) as Poopay, Imogen Stubbs (Strangers on a Train) as Ruella and Matthew Cottle (A Small Family Business) as Harold.

UPDATE (01/04/15): Robert Portal  (My Week with Marilyn) completes the cast as Reece.

Lindsay Posner directs this revival of Alan Ayckbourn's play. The production opens on 13th May (previews from 7th May) and runs until 27th June 2015.

Communicating Doors won Ayckbourn the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Best West End Play Award and the prestigious Molière Award in France. It was also nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Comedy.
