As part of the Landor Theatre and Aria Entertainment’s From Page To Stage season, Knockhardy Productions is delighted to present Writer’s Block, an evening showcasing three new musicals under development at the Landor Theatre on Saturday 9th March 2013 at 7.30pm.

Writer’s Block will feature highlights from three new musicals - Only Love, Knowledge By Degrees and The Confession Room – by three fantastic young writers.

Stephanie Jayne Amies, the creator of Only Love, is a Southampton based musical theatre composer and lyricist. Stephanie’s previous musicals, Lillia and Good Grief, have been performed at the Edinburgh Fringe. Both have gained critical acclaim and have earned her 5 MTM:UK nominations, including “Best Music” and “Best New Musical” in 2011 and 2012.

Wendy Dickinson is a composer and musical director who has written a variety of choral and instrumental works. Writer’s Block presents Wendy’s new musical, Knowledge By Degrees.

Dan Looney is a composer and performer, recently seen as Benny in the production of Guys & Dolls at Cadogan Hall. Dan has written music across a number of genres including pop, jazz and indie songs. His music was also featured in Judy – The Righteous at the King’s Head Theatre. Dan’s first musical, The Confession Room, recently had its first professional London workshop with the show’s Concept Album available later this year.
